Job Description

A. Biologics analysis (Protein/peptide) capabilities (RP-HPLC, SEC, SDS-PAGE, Ion chromatography, MALDI-TOF MS etc.) i
B. Provide solutions to analytical problems related to method development, In process control testing methods of advanced intermediates, Active Pharmaceutical ingredients 
C. To evaluate  literature to support large molecule projects 
D. Data interpretation and presentation
E. To support  process development for new chemical entities /APIs
F. LC-MS method development and structural evaluation
G. Validation of analytical methods as per ICH guidelines and writing analytical reports
H. Preparation of standard operating procedures for analytical equipments/ lab activities
I. Evaluation of working/ reference standards for active pharmaceutical ingredients
J. Generation of analytical data for investigational new drug applications/ clinical phase molecules
K. Unification of drug substance/ drug product analytical methods
L. Stability testing of pharmaceuticals as per ICH (International Conference on Harmonization) guidelines.
M. Adhering to Good Laboratory Practices in the analytical Development laboratory.

N. Ensuring safety norms in the analytical laboratory.

Desired Candidate Profile

Education-

UG:B.Sc - Any Specialization

PG:M.Sc - Chemistry, Other

Doctorate:Ph.D - Chemistry

• Masters with 8-13 years/ Ph.D with 3-6 years of experience working in a reputed Pharmaceutical organization in the Analytical Development Division.
• Hands on experience on Biologics analysis (Protein/peptide) capabilities (RP-HPLC, SEC, SDS-PAGE, Ion chromatography, MALDI-TOF MS etc.) is a primary criteria
• Provide solutions to analytical problems related to method development, In process control testing methods of advanced intermediates, Active Pharmaceutical ingredients 
• Should have Good communication and presentation skills.
• Knowledge on PEGylation and related analytics will be an added advantage
