Job Description
Responsibilities :
This position is responsible for undertaking all technical activities required to build, test and maintain clinical study databases, and acting as the Lead CDMP on multiple and/or complex studies.
Create annotated (e)Case Report Forms (eCRF).
Build, test and maintain databases.
Create and test data entry screens.
Program and test automated edit checks.
Create and test files necessary for the electronic upload of data.
Upload electronic data received through external sources.
Program and generate data listings for ongoing studies.
Program and generate project tracking reports.
Perform data transfers.
Archive electronic data and required documentation on study completion.
Act as programming contact with sponsor to address database issues regarding or relating to area of expertise.
Communicate the database set-up status and the achievement of milestones to internal or external project team members.
Track milestones and issue status reports.
Train staff on data management procedures and systems.
Participates in non-billable initiatives.
Mentors other staff regarding or relating to area of expertise.
Assist in the creation and documentation of new or revised departmental procedures.
Design and implement project-related reports.
May write materials and/or perform technical training for Data Management staff.
Update inVentiv Health Clinical standard data dictionaries and edit check libraries.
Program CDMS enhancements.
Coordinate and participate in the validation of a CDMS or related supporting software.
May represent department at various meetings such as business development, sponsor related and other professional meetings.
