Job Description
Key areas of responsibility:
To obtain the best overall value for procurement of Capital goods and non-medical consumables related items in terms of quality, pricing, services & others terms for Columbia Asia Hospitals in India.
Main Job Task
Sourcing/ Procurement: Handling sourcing through identification of cost effective suppliers for procurement with an aim of improving quality & reliability for Capital equipment procurement with optimum cost. RFI/P/Q processes.
Civil projects: Ability to perform independently
1. Sourcing,
2. Supplier pre-qualification validation process,
3. Tendering processes,
4. Techno-c0mmercial negotiations including 3/5 years Total Cost of Ownership and cost reduction process,
5. Contracting and
6. Contract management.
Logistics: Sea freights & inland transportation up to factory warehousing. Coordinating with Custom House Agents, C&F Agents and other external agencies for ensuring timely clearances and cost effective transport solutions. Negotiating with transporters, shippers, etc. to ensure seamless and cost-effective movement of consignment.
Follow up with vendors for deliveries
Coordination with unit engineers at various Hospitals for equipment procurement
Keeping record of all files, POs, catalogues
Operations:
Coordination with hospital purchase for all unit Capital equipment and consumables related Purchases
MRO to ensure appropriate contracts are established across all hospitals to derive quality, delivery and cost
Providing details to all hospital engineers for budgets and expenditure
Custodian of all rates and quotations for all hospital engineers purchases
Warranty, Guarantees & Post Warranty Service Contracts (AMCs & CMCs with spare part) rates finalization.
Rate contracts for spare parts and accessories
Consolidation of item consumption unit wise
Consolidation of all MISs from hospitals
Handling Audits of procurement processes across all hospitals
Projects:
Keeping record of all contact details
Coordination with accounts for payment
Coordination with banks for import transactions
In charge of foreign transactions
To participate and ensure that Performance Measurement Systems are followed
Advice regarding various methods to eliminate waste
