Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the post of 2 Research Associates [State Govt.]), on a purely temporary basis for a period of one year (likely to be continued up to 5 years) at the Department of Biotechnology. The details are as follows.

Qualification: Candidates with Ph. D. or equivalent degree in Biotechnology/ Botany/ Zoology/Biochemistry/Microbiology / Biological Sciences can apply. Those who have submitted Ph.D. thesis may also apply.

Qualification : Teaching and or research experience in Plant Biotechnology/Nucleic Acids Biochemistry/Biochemistry/Immunology/Virology/Biophysics with published papers will be preferred.

Salary:

• Rs. 38,800/- p. m. for Fresh Ph.D. + HRA as per rules
• Rs. 46,500/- p.m. for Ph.D. with a minimum of one year postdoctoral research experience + HRA as per rules.
