JobDescriptionPosition in this function includes those responsible for
management and administration of multiple Medical Clinical Operations
Functions, or managing general operations which are not specific to one
of the functions in the Medical Clinical Operations job family.General
Job Profile- Owns output at task level.- Work is generally limited to
own function.- Sets priorities for the team to ensure task completion.-
Coordinates work activities with supervisor.- Develops plans to meet
short-term objectives.- Identifies and resolves operational problems
using defined processes, expertise and judgment.- Decisions are guided
by policies, procedures and business plan.Job Scope and Guidelines-
Coding/Auditing of Hospital Extracts, Retrospective and Prospective
Charts per month.- Lead a team of Medical Coders.- Achieving performance
targets set for the team within the allotted time frame.- Prioritizes
work for the team and supervise completion of tasks in a timely manner.-
Effectively communicate organizational and business requirements to
team members.- Provide business process updates and, ensure
understanding and adherence.- QC report verification and, coach to
deliver high performance.- Provide timely feedback and coaching to team
members to meet performance standards.- Manage leave and absenteeism to
ensure optimum team productivity.- Successfully manage concerns/issues
of team members to ensure seamless day to day operations.- Accountable
to retain talent and manage employee turnover.Additional Scope and
Guidelines- Minimum 60 months of prior work experience as Medical Coder
or- Minimum 24 months of prior work experience as Medical Coding
