- We are looking for Requirement for Medical Coder from HealthCare, Insurance background.
- Specialty Ortho - Radiology ,Specialty Radiology , Orthology
- Should have exposure Multi Specialty coding.
- Should have good knowledge in medical terms.
- Medical Coding is the process of conversion of text information related to healthcare services into numeric Diagnosis (Medical Problems) and Procedure (Treatments) Codes using ICD-10 CM and CPT code books.
- Healthcare Providers need efficient Medical Coders for HIPAA Compliant Claims filing and reimbursement.
- Medical Coders perform outpatient and inpatient medical coding and billing functions as directed
- Medical Coders review medical record documentation and claims to ensure complete coding of procedures, diagnoses, and modifiers
- Review demographics for special characters
- Able to obtain eligibility and benefit information from payer websites
- Check insurance cards for mailing address and subscriber information
- Suggest appropriate CPT and ICD-9/ ICD-10 codes, appropriate modifiers along with correct ICD CPT linking based on provider progress notes.
- Medical Coders resolve of issues and questions with physicians, patients, billing departments, and third party payers
- Good knowledge on denial and rejections Add claim adjustments as determined by practice guidelines
- Must be proficient in both CPT and ICD Coding. Physician based.
- Must have Computer skills and capacity to read provider handwritten notes.
- Able to help the team on coding related denials providing expertise solutions.
- Flexible to attend the calls and help the team in urgent coding questions or issues raised by clients if any irrespective of time.

Diagnoses and procedures as stated by the practicing providers are valid and complete.
Accurately codes office and hospital procedures for providers to ensure proper reimbursement. Provides education to the providers to ensure proper completion of Electronic Health Records and proper assignment of ICD.
