This post is in the All India Coordinated Sorghum Improvement Project funded by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research, New Delhi. The job involves analysis of sweet sorghum juice from different varieties for total reducing sugars and preparation of syrup from the juice. Improvements in the protocol for making syrup is also a part of the project to increase the efficiency of manufacturing and make the process more efficient. Bottling and preservation of the syrup is also to be studied. Syrup is to be analyzed for its nutritional quality.
Salary:INR 3,00,000 - 7,50,000 P.A. Salary scale: 15600-39100, Arrears of DA if received from the government will be paid as and when received
