Familiar with basic chemistry and molecular biology techniques, and able to work independently as well as part of a team. Must interact well with other members of the laboratory as well as with the laboratory collaborators.Will work on research projects focused on detecting and imaging RNAs (mRNA, non-coding RNAs and viral RNAs) in patient samples and exploring the use of a modified in situ hybridization technique as a medical diagnostic for cancers, viral infections and other neurological disorders. Bachelor''s degree in science required; educational emphasis in chemistry, biochemistry or molecular biology preferred.
