Biotechnology companies require corporate executives with business or management degrees. A graduate in biotechnology can get a job in government sectors, private sectors or research institutes. Different job profiles forbiotechnologists include lab technicians, research associates, research scientists, engineers, sales representatives, marketing executives and business development managers.

Biotechnology as a subject has grown rapidly and as far as employment is concerned it has become one of the fast-growing sectors.
