Responsibilities
Performs product demonstrations at customer or company sites
Prepares and presents seminars to wide array of audiences
Represents Thermo Fisher Scientific at trade shows and vendor shows to present Thermo Fisher Scientifics products and gather information
Accompanies Sales Representatives on customer calls to provide technical and applications assistance
Generates and records opportunities to the company's workflow, including service contracts
Participates in the field test site determination process
Provides technical training for customers and sales representatives as appropriate
Demonstrates basic operating and troubleshooting procedures for Thermo Fisher Scientific (instruments) workflow
Provides consultative support to existing and experienced customers
Reports on technical trends going on in the territory by relating customer concerns and issues to the appropriate internal partners
Stays current on scientific and industry trends and innovations
Experience, skills and education
Knowledge of different flow cytometry systems
Broad experience in the operation of flow cytometry systems
Ability to design experiments/projects
Experience in labeling chemistries
Experience in multiple flow cytometry applications
Extensive experience in flow cytometry data analysis and troubleshooting
Broad knowledge of Immunology and Cell Biology
