JOB PURPOSE:
This is a Director (JG 100) position to covering India, Sri Lanka and Nepal. The Director in this position will be expected to protect the Companys personnel, real and intellectual property, reputation, and the integrity of our medicines in the region.
The Director in this position will identify, asses and mitigate the key security issues affecting Pfizer, keeping abreast of and briefing Senior Management on security issues, both internal and external to the company, and provide opinions and objective analyses for resolution.
This is a high profile role that reports into the Senior Director, APAC. He/she has strong investigative and business acumen with significant experience in criminal investigation.
The incumbent will operate at a senior level and must have the proven ability to work cross functionally, influencing others at all levels. There will be a strong focus on working with the local Pfizer business operation and external government and law enforcement departments.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Establish relationships with business leaders to identify security needs and develop plans of action to meet those needs; inform business leaders of the formulation and implementation of security policies, objectives and best practices as required.
- Undertake threat and response assessments, providing threat and vulnerability assessments to business units; maintain ongoing security information flow and assessment of events in the region.
- Undertake, initiate and manage investigations with special emphasis on identifying, disrupting and dismantling the major manufacturers of counterfeit Pfizer products; formulate and initiate investigative plans
- Develop, maintain and ensure sound liaison with local law enforcement and regulatory agencies as well as US officials in the region
- Implement will guide regional and/or country level anti-counterfeiting working groups or task forces to develop country-specific strategies to generate intelligence on counterfeiting, forwarding all information to Global Security HQ; and to coordinate possible enforcement actions.
- Manage direct report (if any) who will then manage consultants as required, to include drafting RFPs, recommending consultants, negotiating contracts, providing leadership and guidance to consultants once retained, and critically reviewing work product and invoices submitted
- Support and advise Site Security Officers with regard to development and implementation of security policies and programs
