Description:
Position Purpose:
  • To develop the awareness of Food Safety among work force.
  • To implement the GMP systems and corporate policies
  • To conduct HACCP study and identify and maintain CCPs.
  • To analyze market complaint and take corrective action to prevent on it.
Principal Accountabilities:
  • Responsible for training employees and contractual workers on Food Safety
  • Standardise and Document Control of SOPs, Formats, Checklists etc. for the entire plant
  • Indentify HACCP and Food Safety Team and train them on Food Safety
  • To conduct HACCP study and monitor implementaion of overall HACCP.
  • To prepare Food Safety Manual/ISO Manual
  • To conduct Vendor Audit and guide Procurement department for right supplies.
  • To implement GMPs, GHP across the plant
  • To conduct Internal Food Safety audits and followup CAP.
  • To ensure implementaion of PRPs and OPRPs.
  • To handle Customer/Market Complaints and Investigation of FS related complaints.
  • To ensure compliance of requirements of Local Statutory and Regulatory bodies.
  • Coordination with External Audit agencies as and when required
  • Coordinate and participate in Customer Audits and followup of CAP.
  • Compilation of Food Safety incidents and sharing information with the management
  • Complaince to CFSRA,Customers Food Safety Requirements
  • Verification & Validation of CCps
  • Identification of reference labs to support CCP validations
  • To lead FS related Market Recall/Retrival/Withdrawal
Qualifications Required:
  • Bachelor of Science /M.Sc Food or Oil Technology
  • People skills
  • Communication skills
  • Knowledge of HACCP, ISO 22000
  • Aquaintance with Computer applications like MS Office, Power Point
