Essential Qualification:As per MCI requirement. A medical qualification included in the “Minimum Qualification for Teachers in Medical Institutions Regulations, 1998, Salient Features of Minimum Qualifications for Teachers in Medical Institutions Regulations, 1998, (AMENDED UPTO MAY 2015), (PUBLISHED IN PART III, SECTION 4 OF THE GAZETTE OF INDIA DATED 5TH DECEMBER 1998)” and subsequent amendments, if any.
Experience: Candidate should have completed total 14 years, 06 years & 03 years of teaching experience after prescribed post-graduation (MD/MS/etc.) at a recognized teaching institution for Professor, Associate Professor & Assistant Professor, respectively as on 30.04.2016
OR
12 years,04 years & 01 year of teaching experience after obtaining the degree of D.M./M.Ch (02 years duration) in the concerned specialty at a recognized teaching institution for the post of Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor, respectively as on 30 .04.2016
OR
11 years,03years,00 years (NIL) of teaching experience after obtaining the degree of D.M./M.Ch (03 years duration) in the concerned specialty at a recognized teaching institution for the post of Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor, respectively as on 30 .04.2016
Academic Qualification: M.D. (Bacteriology) / M.D. (Microbiology)/M.B.B.S. with M.Sc. (Med. Bacteriology)/ M.Sc.(Med. Microbiology) with Ph.D. (Bacteriology) /Ph.D. (Med. Bacteriology) /M.Sc. (Med. Bacteriology) with Ph.D.(Med. Bacteriology)/ M.Sc. (Med. Bacteriology) with D.Sc. (Med. Bacteriology) /M.Sc. (Med. Bacteriology) with Ph.D (Med. Bacteriology)/M.Sc. (Med. Bacteriology)with D.Sc. (Med. Bacteriology) ORAs mentioned in the “Minimum Qualification For Teachers In Medical Institutions regulations, 1998 ” amended from time to time by MCI.
Teaching/Research Experience: Three years teaching experience in the subject in the Medical College/teaching institution as Assistant Professor Microbiology with total six years post MD/MS teaching experience in subject. Desirable:- Minimum of two research publications in indexed/national journals.
