Don't be scared of rejection
Always go for an interview with the attitude that you do not need this job. This will not only remove your fear of 'what if they do not like me?' and give you immense confidence.

This is where many, especially freshers, falter. Go to an interview fully prepared, which means that you should know about the company and its services well. It will save time of the interviewer to explain what they do and also show him/her that you are serious about the job position.

Every question has a precise answer. Listed with attention and just say the answer. Do not meander around and do not blow up things. You may falter.
Sell yourself well
Always remember that the interviewer is curious about and sees you as a potential employee. So give clarity to him/her on what you can deliver. It's all about convincing the other person, without exaggerating or lying
Do not start an argument
Remember that the interviewer is only gauging you and has nothing personal against you. He/she may even may not agree with what you have said or question your judgement. Accept that argument and then make yours
