- responsibilities:Research:
- To coordinate and support research activities of the Division of Medical informatics
- To assist in writing-up research grant applications in the field of medical informatics
- To coordinate and manage research projects within the Division
- To write publications or research reports in the Division
- To conduct evidence based searches and systematic reviews in research
- To coordinate and manage research workshops
- To participate in healthcare IT innovation and brainstorming activities of the Division
- To help design research databases for research studies
Training:- To train new recruits in medical informatics and healthcare systems
- To help conduct E-learning and Health Technology workshops
- To train researchers in the use of e-learning resources and the e-learning platform
- To conduct evidence based literature search workshops
- To conduct and train researchers in managing publications and bibliography
Teaching:- Lectures for the MHA / CCHA course – SJMCH
- Lectures for the BSc Paramedical course – SJMC
- Lectures for the MBBS foundation course – SJMC
- Continuing Training for HIS for UG’s, PG’s (MBBS), Nurses (UG & PG), Faculty of SJNAHS
- Continuing Training for LIS for UG’s, PG’s (MBBS), Nurses (UG & PG), Faculty of SJNAHS
- Continuing Training for PACS for UG’s, PG’s (MBBS), Nurses (UG & PG), Faculty of SJNAHS
- E-Learning training and content development for MBBS, MCI Basic and Advanced Training Courses
Services: Implementation and oversight of various IT systems including- Learning Management System
- Other IT systems as and when required based on research grants
