Job Description

 

The medical coder will abstract the information from the patient medical records, read and interpret the medicaldocumentation and translate the diseases and procedure information in the form of numerical and alphanumerical codesappropriately and accurately.


 They then assign the appropriate codes which correspond to a charge and are eventually converted into dollars which are utilized by insurance providers for compensating the health care providers.
• First 06 months there will be training
• After successful completion of training they will be placed on projects
• Should be flexible in shift timing
