Looking for Certified INPATIENT MEDICAL CODERs, AHIMA or AAPC / CPC with 1 between 5 yrs relevant experience to join our Multispecialty Hospital Group in Dubai.
MEDICAL CODER (Inpatient coding only) JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: – Assign ICD9 / ICD-10 CM Diagnosis codes, CPT4, and HCPCS codes per Guidelines, and other coding conventions. – Coding of multi-specialty inpatient charts on a daily basis. THOSE WHO ARE ON VISIT VISA also apply – At-least 2 years’ experience in Inpatient coding. – Ability to comprehend whether secondary diagnosis and/or procedures – High level of productivity, reliability, responsibility, attendance, dependability, organization and accuracy/thoroughness. • 3+ years’ work experience as a medical coder inpatient coding / Outpatient. Inpatient experienced will be added advantage. • Good knowledge of AHIMA guidelines. • Any Degree in Medical Sciences Preferred • Coding Certification from AHIMA or AAPC (must) • Good communication and interpersonal skills with good overall presentation • Good submission and re-submission knowledge. • Ability to work independently and make decisions related to coding.
